ART Technician

The Pumper/ Operator monitors gauges and flow meters and inspects equipment to ensure that tank levels, temperatures, chemical amounts, and pressure are at specified levels, reporting abnormalities as necessary.

  • Records operating data such as products and quantities pumped, stocks used, gauging results, and operating times.
  • Communicates with other workers, using signals, radios, or telephones, to start and stop flows of materials or substances.
  • Tends vessels that store substances such as gases, liquids, slurries, or powdered materials, checking levels of substances by using calibrated rods or by reading mercury gauges and tank charts.
  • Turns valves and starts pumps to start or regulate flows of substances such as gases, liquids, slurries, or powdered materials.
  • Plan movement of products through lines to processing, storage, and shipping units, utilizing knowledge of interconnections and capacities of pipelines, valve manifolds, pumps, and tanager.
  • Reads operating schedules or instructions or receives verbal orders, in order to determine amounts to be pumped.
  • Cleans, lubricates, and repairs pumps and vessels, using hand tools and equipment.
  • Collects and delivers sample solutions for laboratory analysis.
  • Connects hoses and pipelines to pumps and vessels prior to material transfer, using hand tools.

EMS Quality Technician

New Tech Global is currently seeking an EMS Quality Technician to work in the Production group on a contract-to-hire basis for our client located in Houston, TX. This is a second shift and the hours are 5PM to 1AM. The pay rate will start at $19/hr depending on experience.

  • For those conducting inspection activities – inspect documentation/part/component/material/subassemblies/equipment against stated specification(s), ensuring that each inspection is done using measurement system with valid calibration and acceptable repeatability and reproducibility – following applicable inspection procedure/Standard Work and ensure compliance against these.
  • For those conducting manufacturing tests – perform these tests as per their test procedure/Standard Work and ensure compliance against these.
  • For those conducting engineering tests – conduct the tests as per the test plan, ensuring compliance against it. When necessary, assist in design of tests and fixtures and their set-up.
  • Ensures all inspection/test activities are conducted in safe manner: participate in creation/review of HARC (Hazard Analysis and Risk Control) for these activities, and ensure a valid one is available prior to conducting the activity.

MWD Specialist

New Tech Global is seeking an MWD Specialist for global provider of oilfield services, for a contract assignment in Canonsburg, PA. The hours are 8-5, may vary from 15 days on, 10 days off, depends on workload

The MWD Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality measurements services to clients at the wellsite. Service quality, job preparation and planning and job safety are key priorities. Is responsible for the management, training and development of second engineers and trainees at well site.

  • Fully responsible for pre-job planning and mobilization.
  • Develops and maintains a positive relationship with the clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Has required proficiencies for the services relevant to the job and must be certified competent as MWD Specialist as per the D&M equip standards.
  • Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.
  • Ensure all client deliverables (logs, digital data, reports) are delivered to the customers on time and meet client and D&M standards all the time.
  • Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site.
  • Maintains good communication with the Client’s well site representative and rig crew and D&M field support staff.
